About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Assistant Vice President – Sales (Staffing) to spearhead our India and offshore staffing sales function, with a primary focus on the GCC (Global Capability Centers) ecosystem.
This is a strategic, high-growth role for a proven business development leader who can drive new client acquisition, grow strategic accounts, and help shape the go-to-market strategy for the organization. The role will begin as an individual contributor position, with a clear path to build and lead a sales team as the business scales.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Client Acquisition
Drive new business opportunities within the GCC ecosystem, especially targeting US-based organizations with India centers.
Identify, engage, and convert potential clients through consultative and solution-oriented selling.
Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, including talent and business leaders across mid-to-large enterprises.
Account Management & Delivery Partnership
Own and manage key strategic accounts, ensuring consistent delivery excellence and client satisfaction.
Partner with internal delivery, recruitment, and operations teams to ensure client requirements are met with speed and quality.
Job Role
Strategically expand wallet share within existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling staffing solutions.
Sales Strategy & Leadership
Contribute to defining the overall staffing sales strategy and GTM plan for the GCC market.
Operate independently in the early phase, with the opportunity to build and lead a high-performing sales team over time.
Develop sales playbooks, engagement models, and account penetration strategies aligned with business goals.
Revenue & Target Ownership
Own and deliver on high value portfolio, with a strong focus on predictable pipeline generation and conversion.
Build a robust and sustainable sales funnel; drive accurate forecasting and reporting.
Work closely with leadership to define pricing, deal structures, and market positioning.
Profile Requirements
10+ years of experience in staffing or workforce solutions, with significant exposure to GCC staffing (not limited to IT sales).
Proven new client acquisition experience, with at least the last 5 years dedicated to new business development and client acquisition.
Strong track record of working with mid-to-large enterprise clients and managing strategic accounts.
Deep understanding of GCC market dynamics, client structures, and sales cycles.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Self-driven, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
