We are actively seeking a Remote Salesforce Developer or Technical Architect to join our team of Salesforce experts.

Position Summary

The role of the Salesforce Developer or Technical Architect  is to lead and serve as the technical expert on projects and integration focused on Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and CPQ with a team of Salesforce experts. This includes developing team skills, creating and maintaining our Salesforce platform, and crafting and monitoring KPIs to ensure quality platform deliverables. The role of the Salesforce Technical Architect is to own the end-to-end technical architecture, coding, and quality attributes of the Salesforce platform to deliver business objectives.

The right person for this role will be viewed as an expert in Salesforce APEX, Visualforce, Triggers, Lightning components, LWC, and Aura with Integration experience using REST and SOAP API. The Salesforce Technical Architect will contribute to the execution of our strategic goals and initiatives on a day-to-day basis as well as driving and guiding salesforce coding best practices to the organization.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • A minimum of 6+ years of experience in technology implementation for full lifecycle enterprise software projects with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in Salesforce implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce automation and customization tools, especially Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, Aura, SOAP and REST APIs, Workflow Rules, Approval Processes, Process Builder and Flow, Apex Triggers, Apex Classes, Batch Apex, Scheduled Apex, Apex Tests, Apex Email Services, SOQL with expertise in Salesforce DX, Salesforce CLI.
  • Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and CPQ building custom applications.
  • Drive technical interactions with the team for effective requirement analysis, managing security models and controls for multiple salesforce environments.
  • Experience in 3rd party systems Integration with Salesforce using REST and SOAP API.
  • In-depth understanding of integrating Salesforce with external systems using SOAP / REST Services with Force.com Web services including WSDL, SSL standards, security models, and API client architecture.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce limits, Coding best practices, and understanding of the limitations of Apex coding with strong problem-solving skills with the ability to get multiple solutions.
  • Strong working experience with Salesforce UI / UX, Force.com Bulk API, the Metadata API, Batch Apex, Schedule Apex, Flow, workflow rules, validation rules, approval process, reports, and dashboards.
  • Experience using Data Loader and any ETL tools such as Informatica, Boomi, Cast Iron, and MuleSoft.
  • Follow unit testing and test class best practices and be capable of coding for positive and negative scenarios with Experience in database development, database schemas, and stored procedures.
  • Creating technical design and providing secure, high-performance technical solutions in Salesforce.
  • Experience in CPQ quote to cash, Order management, DocuSign, and Credit Checker will be an added advantage.
  • Responsible for driving operational excellence by implementing strategies for CI / CD process for multiple packages in Salesforce Orgs and Identifying continuous improvement tasks for development, packaging, and DevOps process.
  • Experience with Version Control systems and maintaining CI / CD pipelines using any DevOps tools like (GitLab Copado, Maven, Jenkins, Ant) branching strategy, and environment.
  • Hands-on experience with end-to-end software development of complex multi-tiered systems
  • Provide hands-on design leadership in large or complex development projects involving application development, migrations, integrations, and enhancements to existing applications.
  • Ownership of all End-to-End technical aspects of the Salesforce program, data migrations, data quality, systems integrations, 3rd party applications, AppExchange products, and custom development.

Additional Duties & Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify Technical Architect issues and add value to the team.
  • Provide input for Salesforce Reviews showcasing value for improvement.
  • Work collaboratively with Product VPs and directors to improve salesforce platform processes and ensure best practices are followed.
  • Qualifications / Skills / Experience

    Experience

  • 5+ years of relevant Salesforce experience with Salesforce certifications
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce methodology and case management
  • Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce Technical Architect and Salesforce ecosystem
  • Deep knowledge and expertise with Salesforce declarative, configuration, automation, and security
  • Expertise and experience with agile methodology and Salesforce release
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills – verbal and written.
  • Ability to work remotely from a home-based office in a virtual environment.
  • Minimal Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in technology
  • 5+ years of experience in Salesforce
  • Desired Qualifications

  • Ability to think critically and learn quickly to enable educated decision-making.
  • Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Active Salesforce certifications are highly desired (along with a willingness to achieve additional certifications) : Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, CPQ, Technical Architect, and Solutions Architect.
