Core responsibilities
Prospecting and Lead Generation : Identify and contact potential customers through methods like cold calling, networking, and door-to-door canvassing.
Customer Education : Explain the benefits of solar energy, including potential cost savings and environmental impact, and answer questions about products and services.
Site Assessment : Visit customer sites to evaluate suitability for solar panels, considering factors like sun exposure, roof orientation, and shading.
Proposal Development : Create and present customized sales proposals, quotes, and energy management packages that meet the customer's specific needs and budget.
Sales and Negotiation : Negotiate contract terms and close sales deals to meet or exceed sales quotas.
