Job description

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Business Development Executives to achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies for acquiring new customers and expanding existing markets.
  • Monitor team performance and provide continuous training and support to drive performance.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine business strategies.
  • Conduct regular sales reviews, pipeline management, and forecasting.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to design lead-generation campaigns and promotional activities.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with schools, colleges, educators, and corporate partners.
  • Prepare and present business proposals and solutions to prospective clients.
  • Ensure CRM data integrity and timely reporting of sales metrics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 3-4 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in the EdTech, education, or training sector.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in a leadership or team management role.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership, motivational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
