DevOps Engineer (Python, Scripting, GCP / Azure) for our client in Chennai

Job description5+ Years Proficiency in Python Programming language Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP / Azure) and services like compute, storage, and IAM Exposure to Git and version control workflows Understanding of CI / CD concepts and willingness to learn tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps Basic understanding of Linux (file systems, processes, permissions) Awareness of Docker and containers (basic commands, running applications in containers) Basic knowledge of LLMs, AI / ML workflows, and model deployments is a plus Knowledge of networking fundamentals (IP, DNS, firewalls, security groups) is a plus
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in setting up and maintaining CI / CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
- Support cloud infrastructure on GCP and Azure, including virtual machines, storage, and networking
- Work with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform / Helm
- Support monitoring and logging solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK
- Write and maintain automation scripts using Python, Bash
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues
- Follow security best practices in cloud and CI / CD workflows
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve deployment processes
- Gain exposure to basic AI / ML concepts, including LLMs (Large Language Models), ML pipelines, and vector databases
