Job Overview

We are seeking a Mid-Level Clinical Audiologist to join our team at Rayah Impex Private Limited. This full-time, fixed-term employment role is based in Mumbai and the Nagpur Division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive audiological evaluations and follow-up care, fitting and programming hearing aids, and managing a range of audiological services. You will work collaboratively to ensure the highest standard of care for our patients.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience in performing pure-tone audiometry to assess hearing sensitivity and identify hearing impairments accurately.
  • Proficiency in speech audiometry, including speech reception thresholds and discrimination tests to evaluate speech understanding.
  • Skilled in hearing aid fitting and programming, customizing devices to the specific needs of patients for optimal hearing assistance.
  • Competence in tympanometry for evaluating middle ear function and identifying any dysfunctions or pathologies present.
  • Experience with otoacoustic emissions (OAE) testing, crucial for newborn hearing screenings and auditory function assessments.
  • Ability to conduct vestibular assessments and management, essential for identifying and treating balance disorders in patients.
  • Specialization or experience in pediatric audiology, ensuring effective communication and testing methods with children.
  • Expertise in cerumen management techniques to safely remove earwax, maintaining ear health and preventing blockages.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations using standardized tests to diagnose hearing disorders.
  • Fit, program, and maintain hearing aids and assistive listening devices, ensuring the best possible patient outcomes.
  • Provide counseling and education to patients and their families regarding hearing loss and rehabilitative options.
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, including pure-tone thresholds, speech audiometry, and immittance measures.
  • Manage vestibular evaluations and treatments for patients experiencing balance and dizziness issues.
  • Provide specialized care and support for pediatric patients, tailoring practices to meet their unique needs.
  • Document patient records, maintain data confidentiality, and generate comprehensive audiological reports.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in audiology to integrate new methods and technologies into clinical practice.
