About WBP
Wholesale Banking Products (Trade & SCF) unit is responsible for driving and facilitating growth in various corporate products viz. Traditional Trade finance, Supply chain finance, Guarantee, digitization & Risk Distribution . It also focuses on Digitalisation, Product innovation and implementation, business analytics, portfolio management and strategic initiatives alongside coverage segments for expanding trade in ETB / NTB base.
AbouttheRole
This is a senior lead role for the SCF team. The SCF team provides SCF products, customised digital solutions across full breadth of banks non-retail clients. The Product Management team is critical in product ideation, creation and deployment, with special focus on digital solutioning / journeys.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direction and strategy for the SCF team
- Good understanding of market dynamic, especially in digital space
- Good understanding of latest technology and regulatory changes that affect SCF business
- Lead and drive development of strategic SCF Products with ability to conceptualise, develop, write product papers, present and obtain committee approvals
- Ensure team owns the product end to end, including creation of documentation, operational processes, reporting and regulatory requirements etc.
- Drive go to market strategy, identify target client sets, develop marketing collaterals required by Sales team
- Focus teams efforts on training and equipping Sales and RM team to market product to identified client set and join Sales / RM, wherever required in client pitches / discussions.
- Lead think tanks that conceptualise and articulate digital journeys for SCF products to deliver superior UI / UX for clients.
- Oversight on Reporting / MIS, and addressing Audit queries internal and external, in time bound manner.
- Ensure team focus on hygiene items such as weekly sales MIS, ensuring delivery of periodic reports as required by policy / regulation
- Ensure close monitoring of SCF portfolio and drive corrective measures for stress portfolios.
- Team ownership of digital aspect of the product end to end, including creation of journeys and deployment
- Partner closely with Sales teams on go to market strategy, identify target client sets, develop marketing collaterals required by Sales team
- Conceptualise and articulate digital journeys for SCF products to deliver superior UI / UX for clients.
- Ensure oversight on
risk assessment and credit underwriting of SCF products like Dealer Finance / Vendor Finance / Factoring and Reverse Factoring.
Teams understanding on the customer profile, performing financial analysis & determining the credit worthiness of the Anchor.necessary due diligence of the prospective AnchorMonitoring the existing SCF portfolio to maintain its quality and ensuring compliance with the bank guidelines.Conducting review / renewal of Scheme.Maintaining acceptable TAT for various tasks such as conducting rating, preparation of appraisal note, renewals, etc.Qualifications
Optimal qualification for success on the job is :
MBA Finance with 18-20 years of banking experience with at least 10 years SCF experienceRole Proficiencies :
