Role Overview
We’re looking for a passionate and result-driven IELTS Trainer to join our in-house academic team.
You’ll be responsible for training students from diverse countries — including India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Nigeria, and the Middle East — helping them achieve their target IELTS scores through structured lessons, personalized feedback, and engaging learning experiences.
The ideal candidate combines strong IELTS expertise, global cultural awareness, and modern digital teaching skills to deliver exceptional outcomes for every learner.
Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct High-Impact IELTS Training
- Deliver interactive in-person or hybrid classes across all four IELTS modules : Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking.
- Teach both Academic and General Training versions as per student requirements.
- Plan lessons using official IELTS standards and band descriptor-based instruction .
- Organize mock tests, evaluate responses, and provide band-wise feedback with improvement strategies.
- Support learners with personalized attention to overcome weak areas.
2. Drive Student Success
Create measurable progress for every student through structured assessments and individual mentoring.Maintain student progress records and share regular performance reports with internal teams.Use adaptive teaching methods to cater to mixed proficiency levels and cultural backgrounds.Keep learners motivated through a positive and inclusive classroom environment.3. Content & Resource Development
Develop and refresh study materials, worksheets, mock tests, and speaking prompts aligned with IELTS standards.Integrate digital learning tools, AI-based assessments, and interactive quizzes to enhance engagement.Collaborate with the content team to create short-form learning modules and course assets.4. Team Collaboration & Process Excellence
Coordinate with the marketing, sales, and admissions teams to align training schedules with student intakes.Participate in demo sessions, internal webinars, intracity seminars / fairs and orientation programs.Ensure consistent adherence to academic SOPs and maintain a professional classroom setup (online / offline).Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Linguistics, Education, or a related field.Minimum 2–5 years of experience as an IELTS Trainer with proven student results (average Band 7+ achievers).CELTA / TESOL / TEFL certification (preferred).Excellent command over English grammar, pronunciation, and writing.Strong familiarity with IELTS marking criteria and examiner expectations.Ability to train multicultural students in a clear, neutral, and engaging manner.Proficiency in digital teaching tools such as Zoom, Google Meet, or LMS systems.Collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute to new academic initiatives.Soft Skills
