Introduction

The digital marketing operations executive will be part of the digital marketing operations function which enables the event marketers to work efficiently with, technology, processes, and data. We manage the technology that runs the events marketing and set standard operating processes for its usage.

The main objective of this role is optimising the events digital ecosystem to facilitate delegate and sponsor acquisition and deliver a better customer experience. How? Keeping the customer at the center, you will look at implementing processes, tools, and systems that enable the marketing team to drive more traffic, collect more data, sell more tickets, and engage more sponsors for our events while tracking, measuring, and reporting on all the activities.

You will work closely with the Senior Digital Marketing Operations Manager in this role and your responsibilities will include but are not limited to :

Accountabilities

Digital ecosystem

  • Ongoing maintenance and development of the website templates to keep them fit for purpose
  • Explore new website features to enhance user experience and increase engagement
  • Assist in the implementation of new initiatives like referral campaigns, live chat functionality
  • Optimise web features chatbot, pop-up and sticky bar implementation and design
  • Contribute with new ideas to develop our platforms further to better meet our customers needs

Marketing automation & lead generation systems

  • Super user of our main automation and lead management platforms - Eloqua, Adestra, Salesforce, Cvent
  • Assist in email templates, form and landing page creation for events - SPEX and content marketing
  • Data integration between front end registration form, automation tool and CRM
  • Assist in the creation of automated drip campaigns templates for delegate and spex
  • Assist in building lead flow, scoring models and end-to-end lead management as well as integration between the CRM and automation system
  • A / B test to optimise user experience and conversion rate
  • Monitoring, tracking & reporting

  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the tracking ecosystem (web, social, GA, salesforce, cvent)
  • Monitoring and reporting on the digital performance against key KPIs to optimise marketing initiatives for delegate and spex (cost-per-acquisition, cost-per-lead, ROI)
  • Building and optimising digital campaign dashboards for each event
  • Marketing Technology

  • Managing different marketing tools like Chatbot, referral marketing, whatsapp business
  • Onboard new tools and process as per the business need
  • On-going team support

  • Training event marketers on newly added features on product
  • Being the point of contact for queries / requirements - website, landing pages, reporting dashboards
  • Documentation of a newly added processes and trainings
  • Ensure consistency across events and portfolios
  • Experience, skills and professional attributes

  • Proven relevant digital marketing experience (3+ years)
  • Intermediate level knowledge of HTML / CSS and Javascript
  • UX UI design sense for website and landing pages
  • Experience with Wordpress CMS and landing page creation tools like Unbounce / webflow
  • Intermediate level knowledge of SEO
  • Experience with social media planning and engagement tools like sprinklr
  • Knowledge of reporting on website (Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager) and social analytics
  • Experience working with automation tools like Eloqua, Salesforce Marketing cloud, Marketo
  • Knowledge of lead management and data integration (desirable)
  • Knowledge of lead scoring models and drip campaigns (desirable)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize accordingly and work to tight deadlines
  • A creative mindset, contributing new ideas and being able to interpret situations to overcome challenges.
  • Enthusiastic, ready to take on challenges and work independently and proactively
