Job descriptionStrategy Development : Develop and implement regional collection strategies to optimize cash flow and reduce outstanding receivables Analyze market trends, customer behaviors, and industry best practices to refine collection processes Team Leadership : Recruit, train, and mentor collection staff within the region Set performance targets and provide regular feedback to ensure the team meets or exceeds collection goals Foster a positive and collaborative work environment Portfolio Analysis : Conduct regular analysis of the accounts receivable portfolio to identify high-risk accounts and implement appropriate collection strategies Work closely with credit analysts to assess creditworthiness of clients and set credit limits Client Relationship Management : Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve client issues and disputes Build and maintain positive relationships with clients to facilitate the collections process Reporting and Analysis : Prepare and present regular reports on collection performance, including aging reports and key performance indicators Utilize data and analytics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities to enhance collection efficiency Compliance : Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations governing collections practices within the region Ensure that all collection activities comply with legal and ethical standards Process Improvement : Continuously assess and improve collection processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness Implement technology and tools to streamline collection workflow
