Responsibilities :

Design of NVH components and products based on defined concepts along the VC ProMaP workflow from the RFQ phase to SOP - and supporting in the pre-RFQ phase

Comprehensive knowledge of and working in compliance to design guidelines, standards and best practice portfolios

Part design in respect to robustness, feasibility (DFM) and design to cost (D2C) using global VC Engineering tools, considering the respective due dates

Optimization of components based on defined counter measures

Documentation of development results (e.g. 3D / 2D CAD, FEA reports and ProMaP deliverables) according to internal standards

Preparation of dimensioned drawings for components and assemblies considering GD&T

Develop own professional skills ongoing according to the state of the technology

Check drawings including tolerance stack-up and incompliance to internal & external standards

Contribute to definition of CAD standards and guidelines (e. g. drawing templates)

Qualifications :

Engineering degree preferable (Master, Bachelor or Diploma in Mechanical, Industrial or Design Engineering or similar)
