Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader for Sales & Marketing function for the Automation & Control Division of a leading engineering solutions provider. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth , expanding market share , and positioning the organization as a leader in industrial automation and control systems .

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sales Leadership

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Drive sales of solutions including Automated Assembly Lines, Weighing & Batching Systems, Robotics, SPMs, PLC / SCADA-based systems, Vision Systems , and Industry 4.0 solutions .
  • Identify new business opportunities, strategic accounts, and partnership channels.
  • Team Leadership

  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales team.
  • Set performance metrics, conduct reviews, and foster a culture of collaboration and accountability.
  • Key Account Management

  • Cultivate and manage long-term relationships with major industrial clients across sectors like Automotive, Ceramics, Pharma, F&B, Refractories, and Packaging .
  • Manage complex sales cycles end-to-end-from lead generation to closure.
  • Technical Acumen

  • Understand client pain points and present tailored automation solutions with clear ROI.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to both engineering and C-level stakeholders.
  • Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipelines, and activity reports using CRM tools (Zoho / Salesforce / MS Dynamics).
  • Contract Negotiation

  • Lead contract discussions, ensuring alignment with business and client interests.
  • Qualifications

  • B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Automation, or Mechatronics ; MBA is an advantage.
  • 5+ years of industrial automation sales experience .
  • Proven success in driving B2B industrial solution sales and exceeding targets.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms and MS Office.
  • Willingness to travel across India and occasionally abroad.
