Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader for Sales & Marketing function for the Automation & Control Division of a leading engineering solutions provider. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth , expanding market share , and positioning the organization as a leader in industrial automation and control systems .
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sales Leadership
Develop and execute go-to-market strategies aligned with corporate objectives.Drive sales of solutions including Automated Assembly Lines, Weighing & Batching Systems, Robotics, SPMs, PLC / SCADA-based systems, Vision Systems , and Industry 4.0 solutions .Identify new business opportunities, strategic accounts, and partnership channels.Team Leadership
Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales team.Set performance metrics, conduct reviews, and foster a culture of collaboration and accountability.Key Account Management
Cultivate and manage long-term relationships with major industrial clients across sectors like Automotive, Ceramics, Pharma, F&B, Refractories, and Packaging .Manage complex sales cycles end-to-end-from lead generation to closure.Technical Acumen
Understand client pain points and present tailored automation solutions with clear ROI.Communicate complex technical concepts to both engineering and C-level stakeholders.Market Intelligence & Reporting
Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback.Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipelines, and activity reports using CRM tools (Zoho / Salesforce / MS Dynamics).Contract Negotiation
Lead contract discussions, ensuring alignment with business and client interests.Qualifications
B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Automation, or Mechatronics ; MBA is an advantage.5+ years of industrial automation sales experience .Proven success in driving B2B industrial solution sales and exceeding targets.Strong communication, negotiation, and team management skills.Proficiency in CRM platforms and MS Office.Willingness to travel across India and occasionally abroad.
