Job description

About us We invest in private companies 6–12 month’s pre-IPO via our AIF and allocate 20–30% to listed space.

The Role Own the financials end-to-end : deep-dive statements, build clean workbooks, run rigorous diligence, and package crisp reports for investment decisions. (Industry / business model work is handled by senior analysts—your lane is numbers, quality, and red flags.)

What you’ll do

  • Financial statement analysis : 3-statement linkages, cash-flow bridges, working capital cycles, revenue recognition, segment / geo cuts, variance walkthroughs.
  • Rigorous financial due diligence (FDD) : Quality of Earnings (QoE), normalization adjustments, working capital and debt-like items, contingent liabilities, covenant checks, related-party mapping, auditor notes.
  • Forensic hygiene : ratio triangulation, trend / outlier scans, ledger sampling logic, governance red-flagging.
  • Data & filings : parse DRHP / RHP and historical filings; reconcile MCA / ROC data, notes to accounts, auditor qualifications / emphasis.
  • Deliverables : investment memo sections, red-flag registers, diligence trackers, Q&A lists for management / auditors / bankers, and clear, reproducible Excel models.

Process discipline : version control, audit trails, sources list, and checklists.

Must-haves

  • Articleship or prior experience at a Big 6 (audit / transactions / FDD / valuation).
  • CA—pursuing (inter or final); strong accounting foundations (Ind AS / IFRS basics).
  • Demonstrated ability to turn messy data rooms into clean, audit-ready workbooks.
  • Sharp written communication : concise memos with defensible footnotes and sources.
  • High ownership, deadline reliability, and integrity.
  • Good to have

  • Exposure to QoE / FDD on buy-side / sell-side mandates.
  • Comfort with public databases / filings (e.g., MCA / ROC, DRHPs), market data tools.
  • Basic macros for repeatable checks (optional).
  • Location & work setup Mumbai- Full-time.
