A leader in pharmaceutical industry is hiring a Corporate Counsel to support commercial, IT, R&D, and project operations across South Asia and Africa. This is a high-impact role offering broad international exposure within a leading global organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Provide legal support to commercial, finance, HR, and IT teams across the region.
Draft and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements.
Support three legal entities in India (Commercial, R&D, IT Capability Centre).
Provide legal support to distribution markets in Africa and a major multi-year development project.
Deliver compliance training (competition law, privacy).
Support marketing / regulatory matters and manage litigation coordination.
Requirements
Law degree + admission to practice (Company Secretary qualification required).
Minimum 5 years’ experience in private practice or strong in-house team.
Excellent English communication skills.
Able to work independently across multiple cultures and time zones.
Highly organised, proactive, and ethical.
Role Details
Hybrid role, based in Mumbai (min. 2 days in office).
Some travel across the region.
Flexibility required for US / EU calls.
