Job description

Key Responsibilities :

  • Ruby on Rails Development : Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure web applications primarily using Ruby on Rails.
  • Front-End Development : Leverage your strong skills in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 to build intuitive and responsive user interfaces.
  • API Development : Develop and maintain high-performance RESTful web services, ensuring seamless communication between applications.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define, design, and ship new features that meet business objectives and user needs.
  • Performance Optimization : Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensuring high application responsiveness and scalability.
  • Code Quality & Best Practices : Maintain high code quality through rigorous testing, code reviews, and adherence to industry best practices.
  • Database Management : Utilize your solid experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and MySQL for efficient data storage, retrieval, and optimization.
  • Tooling & Version Control : Leverage Git / GitHub for version control and demonstrate a deep understanding of JavaScript dependency management and build tools.
  • Continuous Learning : Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in web development to continuously enhance our solutions.

Must-Have Skills :

  • 7+ years of overall experience in software engineering.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails.
  • Strong front-end skills : JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing RESTful web services.
  • Familiarity with Git / GitHub for version control.
  • Deep understanding of JavaScript dependency management and build tools (e.g., npm, Yarn, Webpack, Babel).
  • Solid experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile, and creative work environment.
