Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Analytics Manager to lead our data analytics team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, statistical modeling, and data visualization. You will be responsible for overseeing the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data to provide actionable insights that drive business decisions and improve overall organizational performance.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive analytics strategy aligned with business goals
Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure performance
Oversee data collection, storage, and management while ensuring data quality and integrity
Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to optimize data pipelines and availability
Lead a team of data analysts in statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and insight generation
Use data analysis tools and programming languages (Python, R, SQL) for data manipulation and analysis
Create and manage data visualization dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau or Power BI
Ensure visualizations are clear, user-friendly, and provide actionable insights
Monitor and analyze business performance against KPIs and benchmarks
Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement through data analysis
Prepare and present regular reports and insights to leadership and stakeholders
Translate complex findings into actionable business recommendations
Implement data governance policies to ensure security, privacy, and regulatory compliance
Manage access controls and maintain data usage standards
Recruit, mentor, and guide a team of analysts, fostering skill development and best practices
Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, finance, operations, and other departments to align analytics with business objectives

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)

Proven experience as an Analytics Manager or in a similar senior analytics role

Strong expertise in statistical modeling, data analysis techniques, and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)

Proficiency in programming and data manipulation languages (Python, R, SQL)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to extract actionable insights from complex datasets

Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting insights to non-technical stakeholders

Strong project management skills, able to handle multiple analytics projects simultaneously

Demonstrated leadership and team management experience, with the ability to build and guide high-performing teams.
