As a Business Analyst – Digital Banking , you will play a key role in driving the bank's digital transformation journey. You'll work closely with Product Managers, Business Units, and Technology teams to bridge the gap between business objectives and technical execution. This role requires a blend of analytical thinking, product management insight, and domain expertise in digital banking and lending.
Responsibilities
- Conduct meetings with product managers and various business units to gather and analyse requirements, fostering effective cross-functional collaboration.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications, user stories, process and transaction flowcharts, and mobile app wireframes.
- Conduct regular as is analysis of existing functionality and contribute to culture of innovation in the team
- Stay acquainted with latest trends in digital banking industry and propose ways to reimagine / reengineer things
- Analyse and understand documents from third-party payment partners, ensuring alignment with project requirements and banking regulations.
- Conduct walkthroughs with developers and testers to ensure alignment and understanding of requirements.
- Serve as the Product Owner within the Scrum team, prioritizing backlog items and ensuring deliverables meet business needs.
- Utilize JIRA to manage project tasks, track progress, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to project requirements, processes, and workflows.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Digital product manager, Business Analyst in Banking or Fintech or financial services industry.Proficient in digital banking concepts including but not limited to onboarding, deposits, lending & operationsShould have experience of 0-1 & 1-100 strategy of product development & maagementDetailed understanding of Digital lending - Acquisition, Management & OperationsProficiency in driving product success through strategic product management and fostering impactful business collaborations.First-hand experience of working with LOS & LMS along with experience of decision-making strategy creation.Strong ability of journey illustration, creation of process flows & creation of wireframesIn-depth knowledge of the banking Operations- both front office and back office.Proficiency in utilizing JIRA for project management and Agile methodologies.Excellent written & verbal communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.Strong documentation (PRD, BRD & FSD) and presentation skills.Experience in working with lending products and services is a plus.Product management, Business analyst and / or Scrum certifications are a plusSkills Required
