FACILITY MANAGER

  • Qualification and Experience An engineering graduate with min. 8 years of experience in managing facilities, logistics parks or large industrial unitsAny graduation(non-technical) with specialized professional qualification in hotel / hospitality / business management / MBA min. 15 years of experience in managing facilities / hotels / business parks

  • Functional Responsibilities
  • To Prepare documents to put out tenders for contractors
  • To Project manage, supervise and coordinate the work of contractors
  • To Investigate the availability and suitability of options for new premises
  • To Calculate and compare costs for required goods or services to achieve maximum value for money
  • To Plan for future development in line with strategic business objectives
  • To Manage and lead change to ensure minimum disruption to core activities
  • To Direct, coordinate and plan essential services such as reception, security, maintenance, mail, archiving, cleaning, catering, waste disposal and recycling
  • To Ensure buildings meet health and safety requirements and that facilities comply with legislation
  • Keep staff safe
  • To Plan best allocation and utilization of space and resources for new buildings, or re-organizing of current premises
  • To Check that agreed work by staff or contractors has been completed satisfactorily and follow up on any deficiencies
  • To Coordinate and lead one or more teams to cover various areas of responsibility
  • To Use performance management techniques to monitor and demonstrate achievement of agreed service levels and to lead on improvement
  • To Respond appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise and deal with the consequences
  • OHS responsibilities To assist top management in development of policies and site level QEHSWMS objectivesTo lead the site team to achieve occupational health and safety objectives, programs and plans (including wellbeing)To ensure implementation of organizational policies, procedures and programs To track the status time-to-time and update top management about implementation statusTo ensure provision and maintenance of plant / equipment and systems of work in the workplace are aligned with laid policies and proceduresTo ensure all control measures identified under HIRA are implemented by employees / staff including contracted work forceTo support in managing internal / external team for events, CSR activities undertaken by organization To ensure effective implementation of emergency response protocols onsiteTo lead ERT in effective and efficient way to ensure minimum / no loss To play pivotal role in internal and external communication related to QEHSW matters Accountability Accountable for achievement and sustenance of BSC Five Star certification for the siteAccountable to achieve management OHS & wellbeing objectives / programs as per decided targetAccountable to ensure provision of required resources, instruction and training for implementation of OHSMSAccountable to ensure 100% statutory compliance to applicable legal requirements Accountable to ensure the places of work in the premises are in safe and risk-free conditions Authority Authorized to ensure selection of contractor as per contractor selection criteriaAuthorized to review Policies & procedures Authorized to monitor effective implementation of OHSMS Authorized to review OHS & Wellbeing performance of siteAuthorized for Liaising with local statutory bodies to ensure the site complianceAuthorized to stop unsafe work and take action against the doer
