Anuvaad is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Program Coordinator to join our team in New Delhi. This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of policy and research, contributing meaningfully to India’s nutrition and public health landscape.
Job Title : Program Coordinator
Employment Type : Full-time (40 hours a week)
Location : New Delhi (Hybrid – 2 to 3 days week in the office)
Key Responsibilities-
Project Coordination :
- Support coordination with various stakeholders including the government, academia and development partners .
- Internally coordinate with the research, data and policy team for timely submission of deliverables .
- Track stakeholder communications, ensure timely follow-ups, and facilitate internal alignment across ongoing projects.
- Maintain a central archive of project documents, research materials, and contact information of stakeholders and experts involved in various projects.
- Track project milestones and deliverables and provide regular updates to internal teams
Research and Policy Translation :
Support the team in drafting nutrition-related reports, policy briefs, scientific reviews, presentation decks, and other communication materials to inform evidence-based policy action.Conduct secondary literature reviews and draft concept notes on key nutrition themes, helping translate scientific research into practical, policy-relevant insights and technical documents.Assist in basic data analysis and interpretation of nutrition indicators to strengthen the scientific and policy rigor of ongoing projects.Field Projects :
Travel to field / states & UTs for project implementation, stakeholder meetings, and data collection.Build and maintain working relationships with local government officials, community members, NGOs, and other key stakeholders in different states and UTs to ensure the successful implementation of pilots and field activities.Conduct site visits to collect field data, monitor pilot progress, and assess implementation effectiveness; document findings, challenges, and provide actionable recommendations through comprehensive field visit reports shared with senior management and stakeholders.Organize and manage travel logistics, including transportation, accommodation, and itinerary planning, to ensure smooth field visits and meetings.Administration and Communication :
Supervise the communication vertical and administrative team.Support the program manager in invoice management, coordination with external vendors and record keeping for administrative management.Assist in organizing stakeholder consultations, policy roundtables, and webinars.Support development and posting of communication content on social media platforms like Twitter, , Instagram, YouTube and Anuvaad’s mailing network.Expected Skill set :
Strong coordination, organizational, and multitasking skills.Excellent verbal and written communication abilitiesStrong drafting skills for reports, presentations, and policy briefs.Willingness to travel to field locations as required.Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally.Experience in the nonprofit, think tank, or public policy sector.Familiarity with nutrition programs and government schemes (e.g., Poshan 2.0, ICDS) is highly desirable.Qualification :
Master’s degree in Public Health, Public Policy, Nutrition Science, Development Studies, or Social Sciences.4-5 years of relevant experience in public policy, health systems strengthening or, public healthPrior experience working in the nutrition and health sector is strongly preferred.
