The Role
Wood Mackenzie is building a team of Administrators in Gurugram to support our global workforce as part of our broader Administration function. The role holder will be responsible for direct line management of Administrators based in Gurugram. They will ensure the Administrators deliver high-quality, consistent support to the global business, and work effectively as part of the global function. Reporting to the Global Head of Admin, the Admin Manager is responsible for building and managing a high performing and highly
engaged team.
Main Responsibilities
Managing and executing daily operations such as booking travel, assisting with expenses, coordinating compliance questionnaires - with a client focused mindset, ensuring efficient, high- quality service delivery that adapts to evolving business needsSupervising and mentoring Administrators, delivering ongoing feedback and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional developmentProviding oversight and strategic direction to ensure Administrators meet performance targets and align with organizational goalsExpanding team, onboarding and development of team members to build a high performing Administration teamCreate an inspiring team environment with an open communication cultureIdentifying opportunities for process improvement and providing effective solutionsBuild and maintain relations with stakeholders across the businessMonitor team performance and report on metricsListen to team members' feedback and resolve any issues or conflictsRecognise high performance and reward accomplishmentsKnowledge, Experience And Skills
Candidates should have proven experience (typically 5 years) in administrative, client services or office management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership rolePrior experience in a corporate and / or international environment is highly desirableServing as the primary contact for Administrators, the candidate should be a strong communicator with a proactive mindset, passionate about coaching team members and empowering their career development through guidance and supportThe candidate should be comfortable working in an intensive environment where tight deadlines are a regular occurrence and can easily adapt to changeThe candidate will need excellent organization and prioritisation skills to succeed in this position. Proficiency in MS Office applications is essentialThey should have experience with identifying and improving processes to ensure a strong administrative service is being provided to the business.Bonus : Experience with systems such as SAP Concur, Salesforce and AI tools.Key Competencies
