  • Responsible for creating and communicating a favorable public image for his employer with Govt. departments.
  • To provide strategic and operational leadership pertaining to compliance and regulatory issues. In the process provide real-time guidance to business with respect to preparing various proposals and development plans.
  • To check and ensure that the above proposals are in line with Govt Policies and guideline.
  • To Coordinates, Liaison and Interact with Multi-dimensional stakeholders within Group Companies for their work with various Government departments. To name few critical departments Chief Minister Office, Revenue Department, GMB, GPCB, Port & Transport department (GoG), Finance department (GoG), GIDC, Industries and Mines Department, Industrial Commissioner office, Forest Department, Home department, Energy and Petrochemical Dept, GPCL Irrigation department and Water resource department, Dept of Science and technology on regular basis and many other departments for one time work. We connect to more than 30 departments for our various work and approvals.
  • Developing positive environment, goodwill & enhancing group reputation for getting the work done positively as per the need of our organization for all the matters.
  • Closely interacting with key officials at Chief Minister office with its key bureaucrats, Chief Secretary, Addl Chief secretaries, Principal secretaries, MDs of Corporation / s, VC and CEO, Chief Engineer / s, Finance Controller / s, Chief General Manager / s (PVT), Chief Nautical Officer at GMB and Deputy Secretary, Under Secretary of all Government Departments we are dealing with for our various work.
  • Oversee real-time status of any critical issue, track feedback, following up and Undertake discussions with top Govt. Officials to resolve the same.
  • Responsible for obtaining various approvals and permissions required at Pre-construction, during construction and post construction stages of any project.
  • Responsible for getting the financial subsidy wherever Company have developed project under Govt policy having various subsidies.
  • Tracks laws / Government policies and regulations that affects the organization on development, operational or commercial front. To keep interaction with Govt offices for any such policy formation for making the policy which helps us in business.
  • Translating regulatory guidance into streamlined operational processes to ensure necessary compliance is being complied on time.
  • Coordination with Forest department and APCCF office for Forest Diversion which includes Manage Deforestation, Afforestation, and allotment and possession of forest land and manage all the associated matters for Hazira forest land diversion from Forest Dept.
  • Once the forest land diversion proposals are sent to MoEF IRO office at Gandhinagar and MoEF ND, responsible for further communication with IRO office, co-ordination for their site visit and finally a positive recommendation from them to MoEF ND for final decision for diversion.
  • Managing Political and Social Relations - Identifying & engaging with relevant Socio-Political Agencies impacting an organization.
  • Attending Managements review meetings with top management, execution and project team, conducting Due diligence for new projects on Regulatory framework point of view
  • The Corporate affairs team need to have a wide skill set to deal with challenging tasks, including proficiency in communication, problem solving, speaking, writing and research on the new subject matters. Mentoring the team for development of above skill sets is key for their performance.
  • Responsible to plan strategically while keeping self-updated with trends in the company, industry and anticipate potential problems and should be aware of Govt. guidelines and other issues to plan to deal with them.
  • Leading a team by giving direction to team and is responsible for reviewing their work. To ensure that the message is accurate and consistent with company standards and goals.
  • Conduct Crisis Management as and when required, which gives firsthand solutions for any problem. Crisis management actions for corporate affairs are very frequent
