Python Developer

We are seeking a Modernization Lead to drive application modernization initiatives and lead end-to-end redevelopment of legacy systems into scalable, cloud-ready, and modern web applications.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in React, Python, and database development (SQL), with the ability to design, code, and guide teams in implementing performant and maintainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead modernization projects involving the migration of legacy applications to modern web-based architectures.

Design and develop front-end applications using React.js with best practices in component architecture, state management, and performance optimization.

Build and maintain Python-based backend services or APIs (e.g., using FastAPI, Flask, or Django).

Collaborate with architects to define modernization roadmaps, technical design, and integration strategy.

Work with databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL) — including writing, optimizing, and debugging complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.

Integrate frontend and backend components, ensuring smooth data flow and secure communication between systems.

Perform code reviews, mentor developers, and enforce coding standards and DevOps best practices.

Troubleshoot production issues and drive root-cause analysis for database, API, and UI layers.

Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.

Document architecture, design decisions, and migration plans for future reference.

Required Technical Skills :

Frontend : Strong hands-on experience with React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and responsive UI frameworks.

Backend : Proficiency in Python (preferably Flask, FastAPI, or Django for web service development).

Database :

Strong working knowledge of SQL (MySQL / PostgreSQL / SQL Server).

Ability to write and optimize queries, design schemas, create stored procedures, and troubleshoot performance issues.

Version Control : Experience with Git, GitHub, or Azure DevOps for code management and CI / CD integration.

API Development : RESTful API design, testing (Postman), and documentation (Swagger / OpenAPI).

DevOps & Deployment : Familiarity with Docker containers, cloud platforms (Azure / AWS / GCP), and automated deployment pipelines.

Architecture : Understanding of microservices, modular design, and modernization principles (re-hosting, re-platforming, refactoring).

Preferred Skills :

Experience modernizing monolithic or legacy systems into modular, API-driven architectures.

Knowledge of modern authentication mechanisms (OAuth2, JWT, Azure AD).

Exposure to React performance tuning and Python async programming.

Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks (Jest, PyTest).

Understanding of cloud-native architecture and container orchestration (Kubernetes).

Prior experience leading small development teams or modernization projects.

Educational Qualification :

B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech / MCA in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Certifications in React, Python, or Cloud technologies are a plus.
