Job description

We’re looking for a dedicated Agile JIRA Administrator with expertise in Power BI to join our team at Mphasis Bangalore. This role involves managing and optimizing JIRA for agile teams, while also delivering insightful Power BI dashboards for data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer JIRA & Confluence :
  • Configure projects, workflows, custom fields, dashboards, permissions
  • Provide JQL-based reporting, user support, plugin management
  • Support Agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban) :
  • Collaborate with Scrum Masters, PMs, Product Owners
  • Automate workflows, streamline processes
  • Develop & Maintain Power BI Solutions :
  • Build interactive dashboards and reports
  • Use SQL, DAX, Power Query to model data
  • Implement row-level security and publish insights to stakeholders

Requirements

  • Experience : 5+ years in JIRA administration (Atlassian Cloud / Data Center)
  • Agile knowledge : Strong understanding of Scrum / Kanban frameworks
  • Power BI skills : 5+ years in dashboard / report development, SQL, DAX, Power Query
  • Technical tools : Familiarity with Confluence, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps, APIs
  • Soft skills : Excellent communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Atlassian certifications (e.g., JIRA Admin, Agile)
  • Experience with ScriptRunner, JMWE, Groovy scripting, REST APIs
  • Prior exposure to Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, cloud BI environments
