SDET + DevOps Engineer (Performance Lab Automation)

Role : Senior SDET / DevOps Engineer – Performance Lab

Experience : 6–10 years

Division : HCL Software (AppScan Product Team)

About the Role :

Looking for a hands-on SDET / DevOps Engineer to build and automate the performance test lab for HCL AppScan Enterprise.

You’ll design and execute load tests, automate environment setup, integrate tests into CI / CD, and analyse performance results.

Responsibilities :

Develop and maintain test automation frameworks ; integrate with Jenkins / GitLab CI.

Automate setup, patching, and provisioning of Liberty + IIS + DB environments.

Run load, stress, and scalability tests using JMeter / k6 / Gatling.

Capture metrics, logs, and traces to detect and debug regressions.

Collaborate with Dev & QA on performance fixes and pipelines.

Required Skills :

6–10 yrs in Automation / SDET / DevOps roles.

Strong scripting (PowerShell, Python or Bash).

CI / CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).

Exposure to Liberty / IIS / SQL DB setups and containerized apps.

Knowledge of load testing tools and basic observability (Grafana, ELK, etc.).
