The Role

Role & Responsibilities

MS Dynamics 365 – System Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the Dynamics 365 platform (Finance, Supply Chain, Project & Operations, CE modules) and applications supporting Finance, Procurement, Sales, Marketing, Customer Service functions. Some of the key tasks and skills of this role include :

  • Implementing and enforcing best practices and standards for Dynamics 365 administration, configuration, development, testing, deployment, environments, and instances.
  • Monitoring and analyzing Dynamics 365 usage, performance, availability, and health metrics and taking proactive measures with Microsoft to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.
  • Keeping up to date with the latest Dynamics 365 updates, releases, features, enhancements, and best practices and ensuring that the organization's Dynamics 365 environment is compatible and compliant with them.
  • Assist in maintaining software licenses, user access and security roles.
  • Coordinate and perform database refreshes. Manage Dynamics instance cloning and hosting between production and lower environments.
  • Manage release management and change management processes for Dynamics 365

Ideal Profile

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science and engineering.
  • At least 5 years of combined years’ experience as Microsoft Dynamics System Administrator on AX 2012 and D365.
  • Proven expertise in system auditing, with set-up and managing integrations with Microsoft’s Recurring Integration Scheduler.
  • Multi years’ experience in user authentication, user authorization and data security; proven knowledge and experience with user roles and security in AX / D365.
  • Experience on Microsoft methodology and Lifecycle Services Toolset managing complex SaaS solutions.
  • Experience on all Microsoft Platforms (Dynamics, Power and Azure) and Dataverse (Dual Write).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage project tasks under pressure, and meet deadlines. Demonstrated ability to work with different geographies and cultures.
  • A certification in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Modules is preferred.
