Job Description

This role is responsible for leading initiatives to improve the quality, consistency, and governance of Master Data across Vendor, Customer, Material, Finance, and other core enterprise data domains. Additionally, the position drives digital process optimization by designing, developing, and implementing scalable workflow solutions using Winshuttle Evolve and other enterprise web-based applications. The specialist will address existing data quality issues, automate both MDM and non-MDM processes, and ensure compliance with data governance and operational standards. This role works closely with cross-functional business, IT, and data governance teams to deliver reliable, efficient, and integrated solutions.

Key responsibilities :

  • Lead the design and implementation of scalable digital workflow solutions using Winshuttle Evolve and other enterprise web applications to support both MDM and non-MDM business processes.
  • Integrate SAP and other enterprise systems through secure, efficient, and compliant data flows and interfaces.
  • Develop, optimize, and maintain scripts, forms, workflows, and dashboards to enhance system usability, data quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Define and enforce coding standards, development best practices, and reusable solution components within the automation and workflow development team.
  • Manage technical design and oversee the execution of integrations between SAP and non-SAP systems for data and process automation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with middleware, API, enterprise data management, and business teams to translate business requirements into reliable, scalable technical solutions.
  • Conduct solution design reviews, code reviews, and provide technical mentorship to junior developers and process analysts.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize deployed workflows and solutions to address performance or operational issues.
  • Ensure all digital workflow solutions comply with established data governance, validation, security, and audit control standards.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for all workflow solutions, configurations, integrations, and technical processes.
  • Support enterprise data quality improvement initiatives by embedding data validation, control points, and exception handling in digital workflows.
  • Organize and conduct user training sessions, solution demonstrations, and technical workshops to build business capability in workflow and data process automation.

Qualifications

Education :

  • Diploma, Bachelor's, or Postgraduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience :

  • Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience with SAP Master Data management processes (Eg-Vendor, Customer, Material, Finance, or similar).
  • Proven background in Winshuttle Evolve development, solution design, and technical solution architecture.
  • Experience developing, deploying, and managing enterprise web-based workflow applications for business process automation.
  • Technical Skills :

  • Strong knowledge of SAP ERP master and transactional data structures.
  • Hands-on experience with Winshuttle Evolve scripting, workflow design, dashboard development (VBScript, Python preferred).
  • Proficiency in Excel (Intermediate to Advanced).
  • Familiarity with system integration techniques (REST, SOAP, RFCs).
  • Experience working with middleware tools (e.g., SAP, MuleSoft) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of SQL, Oracle, or other database technologies.
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI).
  • Exposure to low-code / no-code workflow platforms or web-based apps for process automation (e.g., Power Apps)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills; ability to work independently and manage multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Leadership capability to guide, mentor, and support junior team members.

  • Planning and Decision Making :

    This role involves independently planning, designing, and implementing digital workflow and data integration solutions while ensuring alignment with enterprise data governance, compliance, and IT security standards. The position requires making technical design, architecture, and prioritization decisions and collaborating closely with business stakeholders and IT leadership to define solution strategies.

It influences business outcomes by reducing manual processes, mitigating operational risks, improving data accuracy, and supporting enterprise digital transformation initiatives. This role plays a pivotal part in safeguarding financial accuracy, strengthening compliance posture, and ensuring the seamless execution of core business processes.
