Job Summary
The Design Engineer will support the engineering and design team in preparing detailed 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings using Autodesk Inventor and Vault. The candidate will work on various oil & gas flow control products. The role requires strong CAD skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and update 3D models and 2D drawings using Autodesk Inventor as per project and company standards.
- Manage and maintain drawing revisions and documentation through Autodesk Vault.
- Generate fabrication and assembly drawings, Bill of Materials (BOM), and GA drawings.
- Ensure drawings comply with company drafting standards.
- Support the design team in preparing engineering documentation for new and existing products.
- Assist in checking drawings for accuracy, completeness, and dimensional correctness.
- Participate in design reviews and provide input for design improvements.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).Minimum 3 years of experience as a Drafter or Junior Engineer in a mechanical design / manufacturing environment.Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and Autodesk Vault (mandatory).Knowledge of API 16A / API 16C products (such as BOP, Choke Manifold equipment’s) is an added advantage.Understanding of manufacturing processes, tolerances, and GD&T.Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret complex engineering drawings.Good communication and teamwork skills.
