Project Manager - Greenfield & Operations

Job descriptionExecute an EPCM project from feasibility stage to commissioning and handover. Responsible for project budget / CAPEX planning, schedule management, and risk management. Ensure project complies with HSE, quality, and operations requirements. Ensure the project conforms to the approved Basis of Design and all applicable regulatory and code requirements. Prepare scope of work for EPCM consultant, manage multidisciplinary basic & detail engineering, and review documents. Schedule and resource management, cost control, and preparation of project procedures. Team management, conduct weekly meetings, and monthly project review meetings. Assist in preparing the Project Execution Plan covering objectives, priorities, directives, and constraints related to design, procurement, erection, and commissioning of the plant. Develop consultants, vendors, and construction contractors for a Greenfield project. Prepare Procurement Tracking Register and coordinate with the Procurement department for tendering. Participate in vendor and contractor kick-off meetings and coordinate with EPCM consultant. Coordinate with third-party inspection agencies and manage inspections. Participate in FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) for equipment as needed. Monitor construction and vendor work. Approve construction and vendor work progress. Assist during commissioning and handover of the plant to operations. Production experience will be an added advantage. Experience on Bitumen Derivative Plants will be an added advantage. Execute the Greenfield Project in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner. Strong stakeholder management. Incumbent can later be absorbed in the Production / Operations department after completion of the project. BE with minimum 10 years of experience with Oil, Gas, Chemicals & Downstream Projects. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams. Should be able to manage and lead the project independently. Define clear behavioral and technical competencies required to perform the job. Strong management skills, business understanding, and ability to develop good relationships with all stakeholders.
