Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented IT Admin Intern to support our IT operations and assist in managing company hardware and software assets. This role is ideal for students or fresh graduates who possess basic computer knowledge and are eager to gain hands-on experience in IT administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in IT asset management , including tracking, labeling, and maintaining records of laptops, desktops, accessories, and software licenses.
- Support day-to-day IT operations such as system setup, installation, and basic troubleshooting .
- Help maintain inventory databases and ensure all IT equipment is accounted for and in working condition.
- Provide basic technical assistance to employees for hardware and software issues.
- Assist in preparing and issuing IT equipment to new joiners and collecting equipment from existing employees.
- Help with network-related tasks such as checking connectivity, reporting issues, and coordinating with senior IT staff.
- Maintain documentation related to IT procedures, checklists, and system configurations.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and data security guidelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Pursuing a degree / diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or recently graduated).Basic understanding of computers, operating systems (Windows & Mac), and common office software.Good communication and problem-solving skills.Ability to work in a structured and detail-oriented manner.Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks.Preferred (Good to Have)
Familiarity with IT asset management tools or spreadsheets.Proficient in Excel.Basic knowledge of networks, audio-video setup, speakers, printers, and troubleshoot procedures.What We Offer
