Job Title : ServiceNow Developer Subcon (Contract to Hire)

Experience : 6 to 8 Years

Location : Bangalore (Hybrid 3 Days Work From Office)

Employment Type : Contract to Hire

Job Description :

We are looking for a ServiceNow Developer with 6 to 8 years of total experience, including a minimum of 3 to 4 years in custom application development and implementation on the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in scripting, integration, and UI / UX development using ServiceNow, along with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, implement, test, and debug custom applications on the ServiceNow platform.
Customize and configure ServiceNow modules, ensuring optimal performance and usability.
Integrate ServiceNow with third-party systems using REST / SOAP APIs.
Develop and maintain client-side and server-side scripts, including Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, and Policies.
Build and enhance UI interfaces using Service Portal, CMS, UI Pages, UI Macros, CSS, HTML, and AngularJS.
Collaborate with stakeholders for requirements gathering, solution design, and delivery.
Apply strong troubleshooting and debugging skills to identify and resolve issues promptly.
Support project teams with technical insights and participate in review sessions as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

3-4 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow Custom Applications development and integration.

Proficient in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting (client & server side).

Strong experience with AngularJS, especially in Service Portal customization.

Solid understanding of data flow between frontend and backend systems.

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging capabilities.

Effective verbal and written communication and business analysis skills.

Ability to work independently with a customer-centric mindset.

Comfortable handling multiple priorities and working in fast-paced, crisis-driven environments.

Nice to Have :

Exposure to ITSM, ITOM, or other ServiceNow modules.

Experience with Agile methodology and tools like JIRA.
