This is a remote position.

The Opportunity :

Pentoz is seeking a seasoned SAP SM (Service Management) Expert to lead the implementation, customization, and optimization of the SAP SM module. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in helping clients streamline their service operations, manage warranties, schedule field service activities, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. This role will work across manufacturing, utilities, automotive, and tech industries to enable effective post-sales service and support.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead end-to-end implementations of the SAP SM module, including requirement gathering, configuration, testing, and go-live support

Design and implement service order processing, notifications, warranties, and contract management functionalities

Configure service planning, scheduling, and resource assignment processes

Integrate SAP SM with other modules such as PM (Plant Maintenance), SD (Sales and Distribution), MM (Materials Management), and CS (Customer Service)

Set up warranty tracking, service billing, parts logistics, and repair processing workflows

Create functional specifications for custom developments and enhancements

Train users and create detailed user documentation and SOPs for the service management processes

Support clients post-go-live and manage change requests or system upgrades

Participate in business process improvement and service excellence initiatives using SAP tools

Ensure compliance with service-level agreements, customer contracts, and internal KPIs

Required Qualifications :

5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP SM (or CS module with strong SM focus)

Strong knowledge of service contracts, service orders, notifications, warranties, and repair processing

Proven experience in integrating SAP SM with PM, SD, and MM modules

Experience in at least one full-cycle SAP implementation for SM / CS

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Experience with SAP ECC; familiarity with S / 4HANA is a plus

Ability to gather functional requirements and translate them into system design and configuration

Strong documentation and training capabilities for end-user enablement

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or Business

Preferred Qualifications :

SAP SM or CS module certification

Familiarity with SAP S / 4HANA Service Management or Field Service Management

Background in managing service operations in manufacturing, energy, or logistics

Experience with mobile service management tools or customer self-service portals

Understanding of SLA compliance, service analytics, and digital service delivery models
