Job description

Description :

  • Design, develop, and maintain Oracle Hyperion Essbase applications for financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Configure and implement Oracle Hyperion EPM Suite components to meet business requirements.
  • Create and optimize Essbase cubes, calculation scripts, load rules, and reports.
  • Work closely with business users to understand functional requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Support data integration and automation between source systems and EPM applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application performance, data validation, and metadata management.
  • Perform upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning of Essbase applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, IT, and data teams to ensure end-to-end solution delivery.
  • Maintain documentation for design, processes, and configurations.

Required Skills & Competencies :

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Hyperion EPM and Essbase development.
  • Strong expertise in Essbase cube design, calculation scripts, data forms, and reporting.
  • Proficiency in EPM Automate, Smart View, and Hyperion Planning modules.
  • Experience with data integration tools (FDMEE, ODI, or equivalent).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Exposure to financial processes such as planning, forecasting, and consolidation will be an added advantage.

    • Education :

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
  • Oracle Hyperion certifications will be an added advantage.
