JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a DevOps Team Lead to lead our DevOps team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in AWS Cloud and DevOps practices, with a strong ability to mentor and manage a team. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth operations across cloud infrastructure, CI / CD pipelines, and application deployment for our Microservices-based VDR platform.

Location : Chennai, India
Working hours : 10 : 30 AM IST to 7 : 30 PM IST

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Lead the DevOps team, providing mentorship and managing day-to-day tasks.

Architect, build, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS.

Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance in a microservices architecture.

Design, manage, and maintain CI / CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, and other tools.

Drive the automation of infrastructure as code using Terraform and similar tools.

Oversee application performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and support, ensuring high availability across environments.

Continuously improve deployment processes, ensuring seamless release management.

Implement cost optimization strategies for AWS infrastructure.

Foster collaboration between DevOps, development, and QA teams.

TECHNICAL SKILLS :

Expertise in AWS services : Networking, Security, Compute, Containers, and Databases.

Extensive experience with AWS EKS, Fargate, and cloud-native services.

Mastery in CI / CD tools : GitLab, Jenkins, and Git.

Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).

Experience with microservices architecture.

SOFT SKILLS :

Proven leadership experience in managing DevOps teams.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues under pressure.

Eagerness to stay updated with emerging technologies in cloud and DevOps.

QUALIFICATIONS :

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
