Key ResponsibilitiesSolutioning & Pre-Sales Support

• Lead the technical pre-sales process for new data center projects including solutiondesign, capacity planning, feasibility analysis, and proposal generation.
• Translate client requirements (IT load, tier level, compliance, scalability, sustainability)into optimized technical solutions.
• Conduct site surveys, gap analysis, and risk assessments to build tailored designproposals.Client Engagement
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers on technical aspects, future-proof design, andindustry best practices.
• Participate in client meetings, RFIs, RFPs, and technical negotiations to securebusiness.
• Coordinate with BD teams to ensure alignment of solution with commercial strategy.Design Governance
• Drive high-level design architecture (electrical, mechanical, civil, IT systems) andvalidate against company standards and global best practices.
• Guide internal / external design consultants in preparing preliminary and detaileddesigns, ensuring cost-efficiency and buildability.
• Review BOQs, design schematics, and layouts prior to proposal submission.Cross-functional Collaboration
• Work closely with construction, operations, procurement, and project managementteams to validate solution feasibility and cost.
• Engage with OEMs, technology partners, and vendors to integrate latestproducts / solutions into the design.Team Leadership & Coordination
• Lead and manage the Solution Design team, ensuring clear roles, responsibilities, andtimely delivery of outputs.
• Coordinate with the Detailed Engineering function to ensure smooth handover ofdesigns and alignment between preliminary and detailed engineering phases.Market Intelligence & Innovation
• Stay current on emerging technologies, energy efficiency practices, modular designs,and international data center trends.
• Bring innovation to solutioning approach — including modular, prefabricated, high-density, or edge data center concepts.Requirements-10+ years of experience working with leading EPC firms, design consultants, or global colocationproviders and should have handled multiple data projects.Deep technical expertise in Electrical, Mechanical, and Civil design elements of DataCenters.Global exposure or experience dealing with international clients is a plus.
