  • Director, Finance

    As the local Finance shared services team leader, you’ll collaborate with global finance leaders to enable their strategies and build a high-performing finance shared services team in India. This position will report to the US Controller.

    • Perform and manage various finance shared services activities including AP, Billing and AR, GL accounting, bank reconciliations, Fixed assets accounting, and intercompany accounting.
    • Support month-end close activities and reporting
    • Review transactions to ensure accuracy of GL coding and processing.
    • Support global finance leaders with timely and accurate financial information and reporting
    • Establish Service Level Agreements for shared service activities, ensuring the teams consistently hit KPI’s, and report on KPIs’ and metrics to senior management.
    • Successfully implement and maintain financial accounting controls and processes and drive best practice through continuous improvement.
    • Support the transition of activities from regional finance teams across the globe to create the Shared Service Center (including recruitment and training)
    • As Finance lead for the India legal entity, ensure appropriate accounting and reporting under US and Indian GAAP, compliance with local laws and regulations, and local payroll and treasury support.
    • Facilitates hiring and training of full India finance and accounting team
    • Manages India team and supports overseas growth plan
    • Essential Education and Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance / Accounting; masters degree or CPA / Chartered Accountant, a plus.
    • 12+ years of Finance leadership experience, including shared services experience with a multinational company
    • Demonstrated strength in partnering with global leaders to develop strategies and plans that meet business needs.
    • Outstanding leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage and inspire a team, while monitoring employee performance results on a regular and data-driven basis.
    • Excellent communication and influencing skills, including across cultures.
    • Excellent knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Office
    • Flexibility and willing to work on multiple assignments of varying tasks with personnel at all levels of the organization
    • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, and an ability to build credibility with external and internal stakeholders
    • Self-starting attitude with a strong desire to learn and grow rapidly
    • Possesses ethics and integrity when dealing with confidential and sensitive information
