Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an MYP-Individuals & Societies Teacher based in Hyderabad. The teacher will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging lesson plans aligned with the IB-MYP framework, fostering critical thinking and inquiry-based learning. Responsibilities include assessing student performance, providing constructive feedback, and creating a supportive, inclusive classroom environment. Teachers at The Shri Ram Academy also collaborate with colleagues for cross-disciplinary planning and actively contribute to the development of the school's academic and cultural ethos.

Qualifications

• Skills in Lesson Planning and developing engaging, curriculum-aligned educational content
• Strong foundational knowledge in Education, including pedagogy and the IB academic framework
• Proficient Communication skills to interact effectively with students, colleagues, and parents
• Experience and expertise in Teaching and Training within the context of middle or secondary education
• Flexibility, empathy, and a passion for fostering lifelong learning
• IB certification or prior experience in an IB school is an advantage
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Education, or a related field
