Job description

Job Duties

  • Conducting Inspection of incoming material and reviewing the material testing certificates. Also conducting Third Party Testing of Material as per ITP
  • To ensure that site activity goes as per Construction Methodology, Technical Specification & Drawing.
  • All QC Laboratory document preparation like work procedures, ITP, QAP, Checklist, formats required for carrying out project specific activity and testing as per project specifications and codes of practice.
  • Keeping record of Calibration status and conduct regular calibration of all lab testing equipment & batching plant.
  • Daily check concrete mix design on batching plant, Check all Work activity With Check List.
  • Coordinating with client for the field-testing, pre and post concrete inspection and obtaining approvals.
  • Audit : Prepare and faced ISO9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 – TUV NORD audit process at INRP, BARC Project at Hindustan Construction Company Ltd.

Testing of Materials

  • Brick : Dimension And Tolerances, Compressive Strength, Water Absorption, Efflorescence.
  • Fine Aggregate : Silt Content, Sieve Analysis, Moisture Content, Density, Voids & Bulking.
  • Coarse Aggregate : Sieve Analysis, Crushing Value, Impact Value, Flakiness Index, Elongation Index, Specific Gravity, Absorption And Bulking, Soundness Test, Density.
  • Cement Test : Fineness Test, Consistency Of Cement, Soundness Test, Initial Setting Time, Final Setting Time, Compressive Strength.
  • Steel Test : Rolling Margin, Tensile Test, Elongation Test, Chemical Composition – Carbon, Sulphur Phosphorus Sulphur And Phosphorus Limit And Bend – Rebend
  • MS Pipe : Rolling Margin And Tolerances.
  • Concrete Test : Slump Test, Cube Compressive Strength.
  • Soil Test : Dry Density Of Soil By Core Cutter Method.
  • Stone Dust, Fly Ash Brick And Block, Kota Stone , Marble Stone Water Test Etc,
