East Bentleigh Primary School is seeking a warm, imaginative Class 2 Steiner teacher to join our thriving Steiner stream in 2026. This full-time position carries a single cohort through the joyful, story-rich world of Class 2, a year where friendships deepen, imagination flourishes, and confidence grows.

About the Role

You will create a calm, steady, and beautiful classroom environment where children feel held and inspired. Your work will include :

Leading morning circle with song, rhythm, movement, and verse

Delivering Main Lessons through story, artistry, and gentle repetition

Teaching the Class 2 curriculum : fables, Saints’ stories, form drawing, early grammar, number work, creative arts, craft, and seasonal activities

Supporting social learning with kindness and clear boundaries

Working closely with families and collaborating with Steiner colleagues
