Job Description : Manager Mechanical Design

Job Profile & Responsibilities :

• Shall have 8 to 12 years of experience in Mechanical design of electronic and RADAR systems.
• Shall be bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Lead the mechanical design of complete RADAR systems and their sub-systems.
• Drive concept development, prototyping, validation, and transition to production.
• Design and develop gimbals, pedestals, and kinematic mechanisms for RADAR manoeuvrability.
• Oversee structural and thermal design, including high-wattage cooling systems and their validation.
• Manage the development and testing of radomes, actuators, and motor-integrated mechanisms.
• Perform tolerance stack-up analysis and ensure mechanical integrity across assemblies.
• Design and validate cable and harness routing and retention at the system level.
• Conduct system-level mechanical analysis and testing of RADAR systems and sub-systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electronics, systems, and manufacturing.
• Utilize CAD tools ( preferably SolidWorks) for 3D modeling, and documentation
