Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sous Chef specializing in Japanese Cuisine, located in the KUWAIT. The Sous Chef will assist in planning, preparing, and executing high-quality Japanese dishes while adhering to food safety standards. Responsibilities include supervising kitchen staff, managing daily operations, ensuring timely food preparation, and maintaining consistency in taste and presentation. The Sous Chef will also collaborate with the Head Chef to innovate and introduce new menu items.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Japanese Cuisine preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation
• Proficiency in managing kitchen operations, including inventory management and staff supervision
• Skills in maintaining hygiene, food safety standards, and quality control
• Ability to collaborate with culinary teams and contribute to menu innovation
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Formal culinary training, preferably in Japanese Cuisine, is a plus
• Prior experience as Sous Chef or similar role in a Japanese restaurant is preferred

Salary 500 KD to 600 KD
