Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative candidate with strong data analytics skills and in-depth knowledge of retail assets such as cash counters, trolleys, store layouts, and customer footfall patterns. The primary responsibility is to analyze, optimize, and enhance the utilization of retail assets to improve operational efficiency, customer experience, and cost-effectiveness across our retail network.
Key Responsibilities
- Asset Analysis & Utilization
- Monitor, track, and analyze the performance and utilization of retail assets (cash counters, trolleys, display racks, etc.).
- Identify underutilized or overburdened assets and recommend solutions for optimal allocation.
- Store Layout Optimization
- Evaluate and suggest improvements in store layouts to enhance customer flow and reduce bottlenecks.
- Analyze impact of layout changes on sales conversion, customer dwell time, and operational efficiency.
- Data Analytics & Insights
- Collect and interpret data on footfall, peak hours, and asset usage.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to present actionable insights to management.
- Use statistical and predictive models to forecast asset requirements.
- Operational Efficiency
- Work with store managers to improve check-out speed, reduce wait times, and ensure smooth operations.
- Recommend preventive maintenance schedules and asset replacement strategies based on usage patterns.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Coordinate with procurement, operations, and IT teams for asset planning and budgeting.
- Train store staff on asset handling and usage best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree.Good Knowledge in SAPStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or similar analytics tools.Knowledge of retail store operations and assets such as cash counters, trolleys, and display units.Understanding of store layout design and its impact on customer experience.Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.Preferred Skills
Experience with footfall tracking systems and data interpretation.Familiarity with retail automation technologies (self-checkout, smart trolleys, etc.).Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma methodologies for process improvement.
