Linux System Administrator Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Linux Systems Engineer to oversee our hosting products.

• Main responsibilities :

In this senior role, you will be responsible for participating in 24x7 shifts, monitoring product stability with internal tools, and handling L1 / L2 support for all hosting products.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Linux systems, including shells, sed / awk / grep, VI / VIM / Emacs, netstat, lsof, strace, ps / top / atop / dstat, and grub boot config.

You should have experience with Windows systems, including NTFS, chkdisk / acls, Event logs, WSUS, Terminal Services, IIS Fundamentals, TCP / UDP, IP Routing, HA & Load Balancing Concepts, SMTP, HTTP, FTP, IMAP, POP, and Shifts.

The job requires good communication skills, a sense of urgency, and ability to work with internal and external groups to resolve production site issues effectively.
