SAP Inhouse Consultant Adobe Forms

We are looking for an experienced SAP Technical Consultant with expertise in Adobe Forms

(Interactive and Print) to design, develop, and maintain business-critical forms across SAP

modules (SD, MM, FI, PP,EWM etc.). The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of SAP

Smart Forms, Adobe Lifecycle Designer, and ABAP development.

As our new consultant your task will include :

Collaborate with business stakeholders (GPEs, GPOs) to gather and align requirements for new forms, including their creation, design, and standardization (forms, layouts, labels, and plates).

Lead the design and implementation of output management architectures across the organisation

Develop and enforce global guidelines and best practices for form and label creation within an international corporate environment

Design and develop Adobe Interactive Forms and Print Forms using Adobe Lifecycle

Designer integrated with SAP S / 4HANA or ECC.

Convert existing SAP SmartForms or SAP Scripts to Adobe Forms.

Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.

Implement data binding techniques for form fields using Interface programming (FP_INTERFACE, etc.).

Debug and optimize Adobe Forms performance using SAP tools.

Perform form layout customization, JavaScript scripting, and dynamic form rendering logic.

Integrate Adobe Forms with SAP Workflow, Output Management, and SAP Business Objects if needed.

Provide technical documentation, unit testing, and support post-deployment.

Collaborate with offshore / onshore teams in an Agile or Waterfall environment.

Collaborate closely with the development team to ensure high quality deliverables

Actively contribute to the new output management project and working closely with the project team

We are looking for a profile with :

At least 7-12 years of experience in several projects in delivering in form development and layout design for both printed and digital outputs.

Deep understanding of output processes such as printing, emailing, archiving and workflow integration

5+ years of hands-on experience in Adobe Forms development in SAP.

Strong knowledge of ABAP / 4 programming, including OOP and enhancement techniques.

Experience in modules such as SD, MM, FI, PP, EWM, etc.

Familiarity with SAP Output Determination and NACE / BRF+ configuration.

Proficiency in using Adobe Lifecycle Designer (versions ALC 7.1 and above).

Strong understanding of form scripting (JavaScript, FormCalc) for validations and dynamic behavior.

Good debugging and troubleshooting skills in Adobe Forms and ABAP.

Good knowledge on Adobe fragmented forms.

A degree in (business) informatics, computer science or another IT related education

Excellent English communication skills (working language is English) is a must – Business fluent German language skills is a plus

Ideally you have experience with SAP from an engineering industry, preferably from an international organization

Excellent analytical skills and able to work independently and Intercultural understanding
