Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Guest Service Associate (GSA) for our Food & Beverage Service team in Mysuru, India. As a GSA, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our guests while maintaining high standards of service and efficiency.
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring quality and presentation meet our standards
- Anticipate guest needs and respond to requests in a timely manner
- Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service operations
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards
- Assist in setting up and closing down the restaurant
- Provide information about menu items, specials, and local cuisine to enhance guest experience
- Resolve guest concerns and complaints professionally and efficiently
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience in food and beverage service or hospitality industry preferredExcellent customer service skills with a friendly and supportive demeanorStrong knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including local Mysuru cuisineProficiency in operating Point of Sale (POS) systemsAccurate cash handling abilitiesExceptional multitasking and time management skillsExcellent communication skills in English and KannadaTeam player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environmentFood handling certification preferredKnowledge of food safety and hygiene standardsFlexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidaysPhysical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays of food and beverages
