Program Manager - Engineering (Project-Focused)

Role Overview : We are seeking a results-driven Program Manager with a strong engineering background and full stack development experience to oversee multi-stream projects across our Saa S product portfolio. This project-focused role is responsible for delivery oversight, cross-functional coordination, prioritization, and risk management—enabling the VP, Directors, and Associate Directors, who own the technology roadmap, architecture, and delivery, to execute with operational excellence. The role supports RFP responses, security and compliance audits (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001), and balances priorities across product releases, customer support, and implementation tasks. An active learning mindset is essential to stay current with Saa S industry trends, evolving cloud-native architectures, emerging technologies, and advancements in AI.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide program-level oversight and coordination for multi-stream Saa S product delivery, supporting engineering, QA, and Dev Ops teams.
- Collaborate closely with the VP of Technology on delivery strategy, sprint prioritization, risk mitigation, and release planning to enable seamless execution by delivery owners.
- Align with Directors and Associate Directors to manage cross-product dependencies, integration points, and technical execution.
- Plan capacity and balance priorities across feature development, bug fixes, support escalations, and customer implementation tasks.
- Deliver timely reporting, risk analysis, remediation plans, and maintain executive dashboards to ensure leadership transparency.
- Contribute to RFP responses and security / compliance assessments to meet enterprise client requirements.
- Apply full stack technical expertise to evaluate trade-offs related to product features, cloud infrastructure, API design, Saa S scalability, and AI / ML model integration.
- Promote Saa S engineering best practices, including CI / CD, Dev Ops automation, monitoring, and incident response frameworks.
- Support the incorporation of AI-DLC (AI-Driven Development Life Cycle) practices, ensuring alignment with validation, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement processes to optimize delivery efficiency and quality.
- Maintain an active learning mindset on evolving Saa S and AI technologies such as Kubernetes, serverless computing, and advanced AI / ML methodologies. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).
- 8+ years in software engineering with full stack development experience in Saa S environments.
- Proven experience in engineering program management or multi-product coordination within Saa S companies.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices architecture, and scalable Saa S systems.
- Excellent stakeholder management, collaboration, and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams. Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Saa S product lifecycle management.
- Exposure to AI / ML-powered Saa S products or platforms.
- Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies, Dev Ops culture, CI / CD pipelines, and cloud-native technologies.
- Knowledge of Saa S security / compliance standards (SOC 2, GDPR, ISO 27001).
- Experience with Jira or equivalent Agile project management tools.
