As a React Native Developer Intern, you’ll work directly with our Tech Lead, Akash , contributing to next-generation merchant and POS applications used across mobile devices. This is a rare chance to gain real-world experience in fintech, crypto payments, and mobile engineering .

Role Overview

This internship is React Native–first , with the opportunity to expand into full-stack development (Node / Express / PostgreSQL) if interested. You’ll be helping build fast, secure, cross-platform mobile applications that integrate blockchain-powered payments.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with our Tech Lead to design and develop mobile-first payment and merchant applications .
• Build high-performance mobile experiences using React Native, Nativewind, and TypeScript .
• Create clean, responsive UI components aligned with Paywaz’s product design.
• Integrate mobile apps with secure REST APIs and real-time WebSocket data streams.
• Implement robust JWT authentication and session handling within mobile flows.
• Collaborate on full-stack features using Node.js, Express.js, and PostgreSQL (bonus).
• Participate in debugging, testing, and code reviews while learning industry best practices.
• Contribute to early prototypes for crypto / stablecoin payments , QR flows, and merchant POS interactions.
