Job Description
Operational Leadership
- Manage daily production operations to ensure compliance with quality standards, schedules, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee supply chain, logistics, and vendor management functions, including sourcing, cost control, and inventory optimization.
- Lead the maintenance of technical systems and infrastructure to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency.
People & Team Management
- Supervise and guide Automation Managers, Production Managers, Maintenance Managers, Store Manager, Facility Managers, and their teams.
- Promote training and professional development initiatives to keep the team updated with emerging technologies and evolving processes.
Project & Process Management
- Drive cross-functional projects involving new product introductions, process enhancements, automation, and facility expansions.
- Apply lean manufacturing principles, process improvements, and technology-driven solutions to boost productivity and lower operational costs.
- Monitor 6M factors (Man, Machine, Material, Method, Measurement, Environment) to uphold operational excellence and sustainability.
Compliance & Quality
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, quality standards, and internal policies.
- Work closely with quality and regulatory teams to support audits, certifications, and inspections.
Strategic Contribution
- Engage in strategic planning efforts for production, supply chain, and overall operations.
- Analyze operational data and key performance indicators to identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective measures.
The Successful Applicant
- Education : Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, Biology, Life Sciences, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related field.
- Experience : At least 10 years of experience in manufacturing operations within the medical device or pharmaceutical sectors, demonstrating expertise in : Leading and managing teams effectivelyOverseeing projects related to new product launches and process improvementsManaging production, supply chain, and technical operations in regulated environments
