About the Role - This role requires hands-on technical expertise along with the ability to drive QA excellence explore emerging technologies and influence quality practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities Leadership & Strategy -

Drive QA R&D initiativescontinuously explore evaluate and introduce new tools technologies and testing approaches.

Promote and implement innovative automation and AI-driven testing practices.

Mentor and guide QA / SDET team members to strengthen technical and testing capabilities.

Automation & Framework Ownership -

Design and develop automation frameworks for UI API and performance testing.

Establish standardized reusable baseline frameworks that can be adopted across GALE accounts.

Required Skills & Experience -

• 7 years of experience in QA automation and test strategy with proven SDET competencies.
• Strong understanding of functional testing concepts test design techniques and defect lifecycle.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language Python preferred (Java / JS acceptable).
• Strong hands-on experience with UI / functional automation using Selenium Playwright or Cypress.
• Ability to architect automation frameworks and set organization-wide automation standards.
• Hands-on experience with API automation using Postman / Newman Karate or RestAssured.
• Strong experience with performance testing (Locust JMeter or similar).
• Good working knowledge of SQL and database validation across relational databases.
• Conceptual understanding of AI / LLM models with a keen interest in leveraging AI for QA acceleration.
• Ability to think strategically challenge existing approaches and drive continuous improvement in QA processes.
