Job description

Job Title :  DevOps Engineer

Location :  Remote, India

About the Role :

In this role, you will be responsible for  managing deployments, improving reliability, and ensuring system scalability  using modern  DevOps tools and practices . You will work closely with development and operations teams to automate infrastructure, optimize CI / CD pipelines, and enhance system observability. Additionally, you may contribute to  load testing efforts  to assess performance under high-traffic conditions.

Responsibilities :

  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) :  Automate infrastructure provisioning using  Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Ansible .
  • CI / CD Pipelines :  Design, implement, and optimize  CI / CD workflows  using tools like  GitHub Actions, GitLab CI / CD, or CircleCI .
  • Cloud Architecture :  Deploy and manage applications in  AWS, Azure, or GCP , ensuring scalability, security, and cost optimization.
  • Containerization & Orchestration :  Work with  Docker  and  Kubernetes  for deploying and managing applications.
  • Monitoring & Observability :  Implement monitoring solutions using  Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or Datadog  to track system health and performance.
  • Security & Compliance :  Ensure security best practices are integrated into CI / CD pipelines and infrastructure, aligning with  ISO 27001 and SOC2 compliance requirements .
  • Automation & Scripting :  Develop automation scripts in  Python, Bash, or Go  to improve operational efficiency.
  • Incident Response & Troubleshooting :  Support production systems, resolve incidents, and continuously improve system reliability.
  • Load & Performance Testing (Nice to Have) :  Assist with  load testing  using tools like  k6, JMeter, Gatling, or Locust  to evaluate system performance when needed.

Required Skills & Experience :

  • 5+ years  of experience in  DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering .
  • Strong experience with  CI / CD tools  (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI / CD, or CircleCI).
  • Expertise in  AWS, Azure, or GCP  cloud services.
  • Proficiency with  Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible  for managing infrastructure.
  • Experience with  Kubernetes and Docker  in production environments.
  • Strong observability skills using  Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack .
  • Solid scripting experience in  Bash, Python, or Go .
  • Knowledge of  networking, security best practices, and cloud governance .

    • Nice to Have :

  • Experience with  load testing  and performance optimization.
  • Exposure to  Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging systems .
  • Certification in  AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, or DevOps-related fields .
