Job Title : Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist
Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Specialist to lead the technical design, integration, and optimization of enterprise-scale marketing automation. This role is purely technical, with a focus on platform scalability, governance, and innovation — not day-to-day campaign execution.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of technical, hands-on SFMC experience , expertise in integrations with Salesforce CRM, and the ability to deliver advanced, personalized customer journeys across multiple business units.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Management & Modules
- Architect and optimize SFMC modules : Email Studio, Mobile Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Cloud Pages, WhatsApp, SMS, Push Notifications .
- Build reusable frameworks, templates, and automations that improve efficiency and governance.
- Implement Einstein features (e.G., Send-Time Optimization, Engagement Scoring) for AI-powered personalization.
Integration & Data Management
Design and maintain robust integration with Salesforce Sales / Service Cloud and other enterprise systems via APIs and connectors.Develop advanced SQL queries, joins, and unions for precise audience segmentation.Maintain secure, bidirectional data sync while ensuring compliance and data integrity.Dynamic Content & Personalization
Build advanced AMPscript and SSJS for personalized content at scale.Implement multilingual and context-driven personalization for global audiences.Automation & Journey Orchestration
Architect scalable lifecycle journeys : onboarding, renewals, service updates, and transactional triggers.Optimize automations with monitoring, error handling, and alerting.Governance & Compliance
Enforce GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and global consent management.Document and implement audience governance, opt-in / out processes, and compliance workflows.Collaboration & Enablement
Partner with CRM, IT, and marketing to align data and technical requirements.Provide technical enablement, documentation, and training for internal stakeholders.Liaise with vendors / partners on advanced implementations.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required;Master’s / MBA preferred.
5+ years of technical, hands-on SFMC experience (not campaign operator).Expertise in Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Mobile Studio, Cloud Pages .Advanced proficiency in AMPscript, SQL, SSJS, HTML / CSS .Strong experience integrating SFMC with Salesforce CRM and APIs.Knowledge of Einstein AI for SFMC (Send-Time Optimization, Scoring).Understanding of data governance and compliance frameworks (GDPR, CAN-SPAM, CASL, etc.) .Salesforce certifications preferred : SFMC Developer, SFMC Consultant, Marketing Cloud Administrator .Excellent technical documentation and troubleshooting skills.
